This innovative technology is unique as the printed design originates from a hero hand-carved prototype created using block printing and crafted by master artisans in India, which is then copied onto pure cotton. Made exclusively in Italy, this new artisanal yet modern practice embodies Lisa Corti's fusion of heritage and innovation. The Dam Dam design is a fresh interpretation of Damask, a pattern originally inspired by a Renaissance damask textile and reworked here into a composition with a bold graphic character. In this colourway, the pattern unfolds across two contrasting fields: sage green on cream on one side and a vibrant red on cream on the other. Between them, a vertical sequence of flowers in deep blue and coral, accented by teal-green foliage, creates an unexpected decorative division and emphasises the rhythm of the composition.
