Inspired by the handloom borders of traditional Himachal Pradesh shawls, the Hima design draws together memory and craftsmanship. Stylised geometry unfolds alongside the iconic Big Flower, composed through block print and patiently reworked to create a pattern that feels layered and expressive. This collection has called for Lisa Corti to embark on an exciting new printing technique. This innovative technology is unique as the printed design originates from a hero hand-carved prototype created using block printing and crafted by master artisans in India, which is then copied onto pure cotton. Made exclusively in Italy, this new artisanal yet modern practice embodies Lisa Corti's fusion of heritage and innovation.
