With this candle collection, Lisa Corti transforms those places into fragrances, giving shape to an intimate and deeply personal journey. Asmara, Jaipur, Capalbio, Malfa. Four geographies of the soul, four stories that span generations, inspirations, and memories. Not simply destinations, but inner landscapes, expressed through a rich, layered, and vibrant olfactory language. Asmara is a warm, enveloping memory, almost tactile. It is the place of Lisa's childhood, her fascination with Africa, its energy and its colours. To represent this world, we chose the Ankara design, a weave of warm tones with a large central rose. The fragrance opens brightly, with citrus notes enlivened by pink pepper and cypress, before unfolding into an intense, golden heart: ripe mango, amber, saffron, and an incense as deep as the heart of Eritrea. The base is dark and precious: oud, leather, patchouli, and vanilla blend into a lingering trail, evoking roots, identity, and belonging. With this collection, Lisa Corti continues to express her universe shaped by cultural layering, travel, and memory. As in her textiles, each element overlaps with the other: notes, memories, impressions. The result is a sensory language that transforms the domestic space into a lived-in, personal, and deeply evocative place. These are not simply candles, but small worlds to be lit.
