With her singular affinity for colour, ancient craftsand the art of travel, the creative soul of Lisa Corti nites apparently distant cultures to create somethingthat goes beyond the simple concept of a brand.

Craft as Living Heritage

Heritage at the Heart

Every Lisa Corti piece is born from a living tradition, where centuries-old craftsmanship remains central to creation. This is not decoration, but the pulse of the brand: a meeting of cultural memory and daily making that gives every textile soul and presence.

The Art of Block Printing

The Block Printing Ritual

Most fabrics are hand-printed using the ancient Indian block printing technique: carved wooden blocks dipped in pigment are pressed color by color onto cloth. Each layer requires patience, precision and rhythm, and the subtle irregularities in print are the very sign of authenticity.

Designed in Milan, Made in India

Global Collaboration,Local Craft

Designs are imagined in Milan and realized by master artisans in India. It’s a cross-cultural creative partnership where Italian aesthetic research meets deeply rooted artisanal expertise — a dialogue of form, color and technique in every piece.

Lisa Corti as a lifestyle brand

With a unique love for color, ancient crafts, and the art of travel, Lisa Corti brings together distant cultures to create a lifestyle that transcends the concept of a simple brand. Her world combines limited-edition prints and fabrics, designed in Italy and hand-crafted in India, with timeless elegance that flows across generations.

Inspired by her journeys to the East, Lisa Corti transforms decorative objects and traditional motifs into distinctive designs for the home and everyday wear. For nearly sixty years, her signature collections — including mezzeri, tableware, cushions, bedspreads, curtains, tapestries, kurtas, kaftans, and jackets — have embodied joyous sophistication, enriching both spaces and personal style with exotic charm.

The company today

Lisa Corti is an Italian brand founded in the 1980s in Milan by designer Lisa Corti. After an early fashion project in the 1960s, a transformative journey to India with her daughter Ida led her to rediscover vibrant colors, textiles, and traditional techniques such as block printing, which became the heart of her creations. From this encounter between Italian sensibility, African influences, and Indian craftsmanship, the Home Textile Emporium was born, producing home textiles and clothing designed in Italy and handmade in India, celebrated for their elegance, rich patterns, and timeless aesthetic.

Today, the brand remains family-run, with Ida Corti serving as CEO and Creative Director, and is entering a new phase of evolution, still deeply rooted in its heritage and increasingly defined by a strong commitment to female empowerment—a value that has always been intrinsic to its story and continues to shape its vision for the future.
